G-land Camp for Surfers

The uniqueness of the waves in the G-Land is a new wave breaks after 1 to 2 km from east to west with a height of 4-6 meters in interval 5 minutes. With these conditions make professional surfers can enjoy the roll of waves or "barrel" is longer and longer. It is therefore not surprising that Plengkung has already hosted five international surfing events.

Bob Laverty and Bill Boyum were the first to popularize the beach and the waves at Plengkung in 1972. They then set up a surf camp there and eventually became widely known world-class surfers from various countries. Next, Bobby Radiasa a surfer from Bali developed a surf camp named G-land Bobby's Surf Camp and managed it until now

For those of you who do not want to play surfing in g-land, there is a house on stage to watch the surfers who are in action. In order to see their action clearly, you are advised to carry binoculars.
