Last night I had a very nice long sleep, from 10pm till 7:30am, that certainly felt good! Nothing like a good sleep. Still swell pushing through into the G-Land Surf today, at 3-5ft, and an offshore wind coming up well before 9am. Some good waves had through the day, it was hitting the reef better...

Guess I woke up on the wrong side of my bed today, as all day I just didn't feel my usual G-Land magic. Coupled with higher expectations of the wave quality, I came in from the G-Land Surf rather deflated and feeling let down. The swell was coming (more…)...

A full house today in G-Land Bobby's Surf Camp. 70ish guests after changeover this morning, but still the surf wasn't even crowded, probably because the other 2 camps do not have many guests. Upon first check of the surf this morning at 7am, the surf was 2-3ft and looking like a rest day in preparation...

Bagus sekali (very good) wind was blowing this morning in G-Land. At dawn it was a perfect groomed light offshore, and as the morning went by the wind got up to a nice breeze and maintained a perfect direction.
