Today Michael Narchi left camp, he is back to California for a month or so. 10 new guests came in on a special fast boat trip, so today was my first day of official duties, late in the day I unpacked stuff from last year and stuff I brought with me this year and customized my room, did some yoga, and am starting to settle in nicely into my home in the jungle.

Surf-wise, the bump in swell from yesterday afternoon slowly dwindled through the day. Luckily I got out late morning and got a few 2-3fters (shoulder - head high), as when I  came in at 1pm the surf eased off even more and was pretty slow and small for all afternoon. Light offshores most of the day.

Water temp is definitely colder than Bali. I know Michael wrote it was about 25C but its more like 21C ... or 23C at the very most. I'm wearing a spring suit and i'm just right. Wouldn't wanna be out there with no rubber. I'm pretty skinny though, I see some bigger set guys out and they are fine in boardies...
