Plengkung beach or known as G-Land is a beach located in the middle of the Alas Purwo National Park area, Banyuwangi Regency, East Java.
G-Land is quite popular among surfers. This area is quite famous because it has consistent waves, which are suitable for surfing.
G-Land is often called a surfing beach paradise for surfers.
The height of the G-Land waves can be up to 8 meters.
The waves are consistent so they are great for surfing.
G-Land has 3 waves characters, namely:
1. Kong Waves, is the biggest waves, this situation is often used for surfers who are already proficient, the height of the waves in this karaker reaches 6 to 8 meters.
2. Speedis Waves, is the second wave character, this situation is often used for surfers who are still learning, the height of the waves in this character reaches 5 to 6 meters.
3. and finally the Many Track Waves, the third wave character is a situation that is often used for beginners, because the waves are not very high, the height of the waves in this character is only 3 to 4 meters.
G-Land was once used as a place to carry out international surfing competitions. The waves on this beach are the second best wave in the world after Hawaii
