G-LAND ...   It's been beautiful these past 3 days with good, offshore winds most of the time, warm air  and water temps, and plenty of fun waves happening along the entire reef.  Even with my ankle not being strong enough to stand-up surf, the conditions made it impossible to stay stuck on land all day.  Belly boarding a 9'2" on crisp waves is making me keep the high in my head and smile on my face.  And the view of waves breaking down the reef towards me has been real enjoyable too!!!

May 1st.
Early enough offshores blowing properly by about 10 o'clock started the day off real nicely.  The tides were moving a total of 0.7 meters so with such little movement, every section could stay alive for a long time.  Surf was about 10 foot faces and clean.

May 2nd.
The wind didn't really go offshore until about 3 o'clock...better late than never as the cliche goes...but it was still clean enough and not too bumped up by the light S winds anyways.  The surf had come down a little, getting up to 8 foot on the face, but still plenty of nice waves to surf upreef at Fan Palms and Kongs.  Moneys was inconsistently breaking, but worth the wait for a good one.

May 3rd.
It looked like today was gonna be a lounge day for most everyone when the day broke, but by 11 or so, sets started pumping into the Ledge and getting up to 10 foot.  Such crisp, clean, offshore conditions today with really fast, hollow waves.  It looked like pure fun to be out there surfing upright!!!
