G-Land still had nice size today. First off I thought it was 2-3ft. But then upon reaching the keyhole after breakfast, I seen solid 4ft sets coming through Kongs. Quite powerful, and my 6ft board was a touch too small on the sets. The wind was like a WNW sea breeze, so a bit bumpy, but really fun rides, and my goodness the water was like a bath!! Just wore boardies and it was sweeeettttt as!
The wind went to a WSW later in the day, which made the faces cleaner, with fun sections to hit, and all day there would be good 4ft sets and even the rogue 5fter. Fan Palms had some fun rides.
The G-Land Surf has been really uncrowded the past 2 days I've been back, quite a treat. And with offshores forecast again on October 1st and a bump in the swell, its gonna be all good.
