G-Land was a bit smaller once again, but still enough swell to have some real fun waves all morning. Solid 3ft (head high) on the sets, and Fan Palm and the Ledge area on the high tide late morning were definitely the highlights of the day. Early on when the wind was nill and the tide was lower, there was plenty of sets up Kongs that were a bit overhead.

But like I said, that high tide session, with a nice light trade on it, was so fun. Crispy waves peeling off for quite some length, allowing multiple turns and lip maneuvers. Super warm water, hot sun all day, no rain for the past 40 hours, bloody bagus!

I never looked at the surf in the late afternoon but I presume it was still a few up reef towards Kongs. Instead I enjoyed a peaceful nap and then got an epic massage from one of our staff.
