Today I felt the need to go to Bali for a week for a holiday from a holiday. 1 month in the G-Land jungle had me craving something more. The fact that I have a nasty burn on my leg and a tweaked back also encouraged me to take a Bali trip now too. So on the fast boat and a couple hours later I'm in Bali, and not long after I'm in all the Kuta nightclubs sampling many different cocktails, listening to thumping sounds, spending lots of money, and spinning into the Kuta Vortex.. Woooaaaahh!!
G-Land Surf was about 3-5ft through the day for the new arrivals and the many guests whom chose to stay on. The wind at times went light offshore throughout the day of variable winds, and there was a 5ft Launching Pad window on high tide with 3-4ft waves coming through Speedies, although without a stiff trade it wasn't quite what it could have been.
Plenty of juice and lined up swell all the same, and lots of guests got a bunch of fun waves today!
