G-LAND ... The timing for everything felt perfect yesterday. Waking up at about 10:30 after a late one last night, I went straight out to the beach to see what the scenario was. The swell was pretty down and it never came up like the forecast predicted, which meant I didn't have to fight the onset of that tropical malaise that can hit you here. If the swell was up, I would have had to summon up some serious energy to get motivated to paddle out, EVEN if it was good. So after breaking the fast with lunch since I missed the 1st meal, I went back and rested for most of the day.
Not much of a report, but hopefully something shows tomorrow and there will be some surf riding going on.
