G-Land today was as the internet called it: Small easing swell. 2-3ft all day (4-6ft faces), and not that many sets that were head high even. The wind was offshore mid morning onwards as per a normal day here. Speaking of mid-morning I slept in till then and just made it in time for breakfast. Thankfully. I love breakfast!
Not making it out today surfing, I will just relay what I saw and heard. All parts of the reef had small waves, and some guys got a few head dips here and there. Tomorrow is looking smaller again, perhaps 1-2ft?? So I can picture 3 consecutive rest days in a row for me. Sunday is showing small signs of a bit of extra swell, then Monday should be 4-5ft (well overhead) with another swell a few days later looking bigger again.
So there is hope yet!
