G-LAND ... Stiff offshores, really crisp Money Trees and a relatively really good collection of surfers made another day out here easily enjoyable.  Early morning conditions were once again on...and with most everyone making sure they got the prime session at Money Trees, the 2nd 1/2 of the day was absent of crowds.

Moneys from about 8:30 to 10:30 had some quality waves, not epic quality, but there were those that barreled through the entire length of the reef.  Seemed like a lot of people were seriously challenged by the 20 knot offshores.  But naturally that wind keeps the sections real open. It's a tough decision on board choice.  Do you ride the bigger gun to get into double overhead Moneys when the wind is ripping plumes off the back, dropping rain for 5 seconds.  Or do you challenge the thought to ride a shorter board so that the wind doesn't push your nose back up the face, like it does of 7 foot plus boards.  Late drops or lip incorporated???

So once the 1st part of the day was gone, the 2nd half definitely discouraged people to come back out on the low tide.  Waves were still happening, but they're desire changed.  Got to surf alone for about 1 hour, then another 2 hours with 1 other person...that being Dibble...then they slowly came out.  Another 2 having at it with us.  By about 4 o'clock, there were 10 surfers trying at the Ledge and I went in.  3rd day straight with real exciting Legde happening and hopefully it will come alive tomorrow as well.
