G-Land provided me with a really good sleep last night, waking up after 8am, I walked to the beach and holy sh*t its perfect offshore already, not one person out, and 5-6ft! If I had have woken up earlier I would have been out even earlier. But anyway after some breakfast and warm-ups, I was out by 10:30am, and for a good hour there was no more than 10 of us sharing some sick as waves. Sets were solid 6ft, sometimes 8ft, and some nice clean walls and barrels to be had! By 12 there were maybe 40 or 50 guys on the Tree and I was off it, so I simply paddled in for lunch.
G-Land Surf just got bigger through the afternoon, and a rip roaring current was up by 2pm. Sets were 8-10ft as the new West swell starting peaking up. I decided to get not a Nasi Campur, but an Ombak Campur (Wave Mixture), and shot down to Tigertracks which was maxing out but had fun reform righthanders, then I went back to 20/20's and scored some overhead (believe it or not) clean as hotdogging lefthanders. I was amazed that there was sets that big, this swell really had some size.. and the one on Sunday is looking much bigger again! woah..
G-Land Bobby's Surf Camp did a new dish tonight for dinner, fish mango salad. Very tasty. Well tomorrow will be solid, hopefully Money Trees will have a little window of surfableness, it'll be solid as!
