G-Land was overhead once again. For the first few hours of the morning the surf was quite wonky out at the high tide money trees, but a few crew got out amongst it. Actually all day there was a couple of different swells running through making for some slightly weird conditions. The wind kicked in about 10am, but it never got to a true perfect offshore. Enough to make some fun conditions, but not a lot of epic barrels. YET there was the odd sick barrel ridden if the surfer was in the right place at the right time.
The size was overhead all day, but late in the day at Money Trees there was some double overhead sets coming through! So tomorrow is looking promising with an upgraded swell forecast...
I took my Kiwi buddy's out Kongs and there was a few good ones here and there, just before low tide. Later in the day at Money's when we went out was better and bigger and cleaner, but still hard to find a great deal of good waves.
We just had a special trip come in this morning with one guest Melissa, infact from Surabaya! She doesn't surf, but her German friend Silvia is here enjoying Tigertracks and the other small waves on offer. Melissa is enjoying the nature of G-Land, she is finding it very nice. She went to Tigers with Silvia, and because of tidal issues they had to get dropped off at 20/20s. She really enjoyed walking along the natural setting of the Grajagan Bay beach.
