G-LAND ... No surfing today for me and it was the best day we've had in the past 9.  Odd but that's the way it goes.  Burning up a little hotter than normal inside of my body and feeling like rest would be smarter than enjoyin' the overhead waves coming through.

Transport day and 14 came in.  Pretty surprised to see 14 on the list, but i can understand the logic of spending time at G-Land when the swell is real small.  Jarred came back in after about 6 weeks in Bali and so did everyone that is a part of this operation.  The entire staff from Bali and Grajagan were here today, including the Bobby.  End of the season meeting and there was an impressive long-table set up with about 50 of us there talking and listening to what's to come for next season.  Good Swells is my hopeful thought!!!

So the surf...clean, offshore, a couple feet overhead and somewhat hollow when it was breaking down into Money Trees.  Low tide Ledge was working and Fan Palms up through Kongs had waves all day.  It was a nice looking day to be surfing and even though i didn't surf, i spent a long time on the bale up front, watching the day unravel into the sunset.  The photo's below are not from today.  In fact, we haven't had many classic G-Land sunsets like it can be.  But this one from the 23rd i remember real well.
