Nice pulse arrived today at G-Land with 3 to 4 foot sets focusing a little further up-reef than yesterday...a slight swell-direction shift to the west. I wasn't up early early this morning cause I drank 2 small Bintangs. There's something sinister inside them beers...maybe they're still using formaldehyde? Bobby's G-Land Surf Camp should start pouring Draft Guinness. Any supporters???
But, by 10 A.M. the offshores had begun their ruckuss with the bamboo and palms, smooth-faced, 3 to 5 wave sets were ending their journey on Money Trees and Kongs, and the G-land Surf line-up was like the Sahara Desert....barren. By the end of the day, same-sized sets were still coming through, but like yesterday afternoon, it was inconsistent. Good fortune came my way and I was given some quality little barrels. Paddling out with no expectations (I was still a little sideways from those 2 beers....no joke) really always makes the surfing experience better.
Neil...thanks for the wax. Your timing was perfect cause I'm just out. Until next season bro!
