G-LAND ... I expected the camp to slide right down in numbers since the forecast didn't look that positive for the coming week.  But then that means most of southern Indonesia will be collecting even less swell.  Everyone from down in town will go up to Ulu's and it'll be dangerous.

And thinking about sliding downwards...so did the swell.  Yesterday was verifiably the end of a great run of waves.  Today, I didn't even look at the ocean after about 11:00.  Early morning had that "early morning bump" and by the time all the new guests were situated, the offshores came up, and the tide filled in, there wasn't more than about head high waves up at Kongs.

Money's had a few sets, but it was too small and too fast.  You could maybe put the effort in and get a ride for a few seconds, not much more.  By the end of the day, when I came out from hiding in "da favela,"  the few people that I talked to about the surf were far from shy with their facial expressions.  I knew it was not fun for them.  RARE!!!

Beautifully sunny today and the second consecutive day without rain.  It feels good when I know my things are drying out.  Today would have been perfect to go for a spear since yesterday, the visibility was about 30 feet.  Maybe tomorrow...
