G-LAND ... good fun today.  Such a beautiful morning once again and I'm really amazed how consistently good the early mornings are.  Clean, light offshores, and pretty empty since most everyone here knows/believes that G-LAND is an after 10:00 sort of wave.  And typically so!!!

Inside Launching Pad into mini Speedies today and fun reef-runners since the tide wasn't too high today (1.9 meter high) and the size was about 6-8 foot on the peak and tapering off to max head high through Speedies.  But crisp little waves that were fast and fun...a few random sections to pull in on too.

Money Trees on up through Kongs was picking up more swell and getting a few random 10 foot sets, but basically 6-8 foot faces.  The swell backed off from yesterday in consistency.  Every 25 minutes or so a set of 4-5 waves would run the reef, but plenty of medium size in-betweeners that were well shaped, standing up a little more vertically, and breaking shallow.

The forecast shows very little for the coming week...not that this determines much here.  Just that nothing significant and solid is coming.  But there's always unpredicted pulses that show up throughout the day, you just need to be watching it a lot more to catch it.  But my point is that today may be the end of an 8-day run of quality G-LAND.  Many thanks to everyone that was here since they made it all the more enjoyable in the surf.
