And so.... the multi-million dollar modeling prediction was wrong.  Remembering it's possible would for sure benefit us all... we might stop talking too much and too confidently about what the future is going to be.  Swell was still pushing up onto the reef today with strong force and refined shape.  Money Trees was the focal arena. Come 11 o'clock and here comes the start of an amazing 30 minute pulse.  5 to 7 wave sets... 6 to 8 foot... winds offshore... and not too many riders on the HOLLOW-HOLLOW ones.  The G-Land Surf was quality.  It did back-off by sunset, but not enough to stop the beach-front beer brigade from letting ahhhs out of their dropped jaws.

I'm sitting in Bobby's G-Land Surf Camp dining area and it's time to dine.  Can you hear the dinner time music?  Chicken BBQ and corn.  I'm like Pavlov's dogs after he rings the bell.  Stories from today's triumphs and misjudgments metronome the clink and clank beat of silverware and plates.  You can get used to the stories.  But it's always good to see guys... and one girl right now... ensuring that a happy story is being written on their faces.

John and Bubsy are busy right now.  They've been busy the past 3 days in fact.  Hopefully they're staying relaxed through a night of repetitive attempts at photo-price negotiation.   It would be nice to show you some photos from the past 3 days.  Maybe next season???

ENJOY...from G-LAND.
