October 1st 2009

Not an overly impressive start to October today Ladies and Gentlemen. Yet some good promise with the wind being the closest wind to a trade we've had in at least 10 days, blowing a South-Southeast breeze, but the swell was a bit peaky most of the day, 3-4ft Kongs & Fan Palms was the pick of the bunch. Still totally rippable and uncrowded too.

G-Land Bobby's Surf Camp only has 33 guests right now and the other 2 camps even less. So its a great time to come and get some reasonably empty line-ups!

Yesterday a big Earthquake hit Sumatera and already at least 500 people have died, our hearts go out to them... very sad... Here in G-Land we are very safe from these earthquakes as they are normally far away from us, and any tsunami can not angle to G-Land, and if they do make it to here, our camp is strategically placed to get smashed.
