G-LAND ... really thankful to be back here. I'm sure that's a feeling every one of you has on your return and naturally so. Strangely, it's nice to come back and not have surf. But hopefully that will change tomorrow, since nothing really changed as far as the surf goes from Jarred's last report yesterday. Small surf breaking up at Kongs...maybe maximum head high. Beautiful conditions here today, simply just lacking the swell needed to bring the reef to life.
There was about a 1 week window of time with poor wind, but that seems to have faded away and since the 15th, the winds have been blowing typical dry-season trades. I truly hope that remains as a constant cause bad wind with a good swell makes it more difficult to look at the ocean than when it's flat!
Transport day today and with a total of 24 guests in camp, seems like there's the potential for friendly surf sessions with people remembering where their place in line exists. WOW...yeah...WOW! But just like the old T & C shirt designs from the 80'S "PRAY FOR SURF"
Safe traveling back in Bali Jarred. If you were looking at this report right now, I'd bet that it wasn't Jarred Hancox reading this, but instead J-Rod.
