G-Land had waves today, but nothing too exciting. Around 2ft on the sets (shoulder height max), with waves this height down most of the reef. I didn't bother surfing, because yesterday I really enjoyed myself and wanted to leave G-Land tomorrow on a high note.
It was a great sunny day today with no rain what so ever, and same with through the night. I spend most of the day packing, getting my photo's off Dave Thomas, our camp photographer, and some video footage that Masato Kato let me copy of a session his wife Hiromi filmed from early October 2005! Epic 2 days of Pad/Speedies back then, so will play around with that footage in the near future....
Also got a massage from one of our fine camp masseuse's, Rio. This kid hits all the right spots and he got plenty of knots out and I was super relaxed after.
Today's my last report for the year in G-Land, and Michael takes over tomorrow. Not the most epic of seasons, but still some great waves had, plenty of trade winds, warmer than normal water temps, good crew, enough tube time to keep me happy, good food and not too much to complain about! (Apart from the unusual amount of rain haha).
Until next time....
