G-Land was still a nice size today, plenty of 5-6ft sets, but not to many macking double ups like yesterday. The offshore was up super early, then it rained and went wonky, but by 10am the offshore came back and it was clean for the rest of the day.
I did an upper body workout with Fabio before lunch, then most of the afternoon went out Money Trees on my 7'8 quad fin, and just cruised. Got one good barrel and a bunch of fun walls. This surf was also a test run for the Salinas Fabio gifted to me. They were super comfy, although I got many strange looks. Managed to drop in on fellow Salinas surfer Fabio and hopefully John Hepler got a photo of it for good memories hahaha.
Just 3 more days left for me in G-Land bobby's surf camp... will be quite weird leaving, but for sure I'll be back next year! Good times...
