G-Land Bobby's Surf Camp had a solid change over today. Of 34 guests, 22 left, and 18 came. So plenty of fresh faces in camp today. Of these 18 new guests, a good portion of them were first timers. So I had quite a group to do an orientation tour with.
What I got to point out to them was 3-4ft (6-8ft faces) Money Trees with similar waves up the reef, and an onshore breeze. Unfortunately the onshore breeze prevailed through the day, turning full blown South West cross shore at 3pm. Still, numerous guests reported to me having fun walls with not many guys out.
Thankfully Windguru is now showing some form of Trades coming back through within a few days, along with more swell, so fingers crossed for some mid October goodness! Myself, I didn't surf today, just read my book, had a big nap, ate my meals, did a solid yoga session, and soon will watch a DVD in the movie cinema. Nice relaxing day.
