G-LAND ... and one more day to spend time doing other things than surf. Cole, Warren and I went for a fish hunt. I really felt the need get into the ocean today and going for a swim was the way to satiate that desire.
We rode the dingy up to Blambangan's tip and within 20 minutes, Cole was walking back to camp with Blue Fin Trevally. Warren joined him and I spent the next hour trying to swim counter-current across Kong's deadzone, hoping to reach the Ledge. I gave up and came into shore real slowly.
DINNER...chicken in mustard sauce, salad with a mustard-vinagrette, and mashed potatoes tinted with cinnamon. Easily one of the top 3 meals I've had this season. My shorts are fitting tighter since, after going back through the reports, I really haven't surfed since the 27th.
Still very hopefully that something will come in before it's time to leave!!!
