G-LAND ... another solid dump of rain last night and definitely humanly things cannot dry out too much.  Sun came out later in the morning and along with the air heating up, we've got some real warm water.  Cole's dive watch reads 88F/31C degrees in the surf which makes it close to 100F/38C in the lagoon in those hot spots above the dark green sea grass.

Surf was maxing out just above head high on the peaks, tapering down the line in size, but "down the line" is a keyword.  There were a few waves that if you took the Royal Hawaiian approach to ride the wave until it's no longer rideable, you might cover a couple hundred yards.  From Kongs through Money Trees, people stippled the line up with 2 people here, 1 there, 3 way up there.  Real nice to paddle yards and yards before you see someone else.

With the camp quieting, the Macaque's (gray monkeys) know it and they're getting braver every day.  Today I had the troops lieutenant (Franky, dub by Puma) front on me real proudly.  As I stopped and turned my face to give him a good look, feel my body temp change a bit, and see if he's really up to something...nothing came of it.  So I walked on...only to hear him slap the ground right behind me (no further away than about 2 feet)  trying to get something out of me.  OK!!!  So I got down on his level, squatting so I was more his size and off he went.  STRANGE!!!  They're little punks.  Complete with mohawks and big balls.  The Lutung's (black monkeys) have what seems to be proportional sized balls.

AND THEN...Putu was making funny body language with him and his girl (they were sitting on the bench on the walkway by the shower and sign) getting the funniest body language back from them.  I can't really paint the picture, but I was getting a good belly laugh from it.  They were communicating for sure.  So in an animalistic, primal middle finger, Franky hops on "his girl" monkey style and let's Putu know that he's getting nothing.  I couldn't see any other meaning!!!
