November 3rd 2009

Upon the sun's touch of the horizon line, all the laughter, story-telling, dancing, and play-fighting solidified my belief that everyone main-lined enough Plengkung panacea to leave this place filled with content. And all the first-timers, unknowingly, are hosting a newly sown seed which will later fruit into a delicious "I NEED to go back to G-Land!"

For today's report, you can read yesterday's thoughts and simply change NONE to ALMOST NONE.... 10-footers to 12-footers... deep to deeper... and PURE EPIC FUN can stay the same!  Today, we had classic conditions.  But I feel the need to be clear and realistic with the image I'm painting... not every wave was a classic.  Those days don't happen often, but there's still time before the wind goes bad. That would then be PURE EPIC GREATNESS!

What I mean by classic is the coalescence of those 3 fundamental conditions; swell, wind, and tide.  They all came together and gave us those long-standing Money Trees walls that allow you to drift for several seconds on the high line,  push off into a high energy re-entry, set a very long-arced, constant velocity bottom turn, only to set up for that section you saw looming ahead 30-yards into your future, surprised and happy your there at the perfect timing to set up -- settle in -- trim, come out and if you've been good, maybe do it again, kick-out, look back up-reef to see how far you've traveled, and think "can I really get another one better than that." Sorry for the run-on, but that's what the waves were doing too.

ENJOY...
