G-LAND ...   Like the past few November's i can remember, we've apparently settled into that same window of time where riding waves wouldn't be your focus for the day.  My memory pulls up long, 10-day plus runs of not much surf at all during every November i can remember.  Really though, you can always ride something out here.  The two 9'8"s and two SUP's are coming into use.  TigerTom is smart to have his 11-footer and Harry's been pilferring Tigertracks everyday on a newly bought 8'0'' from Maui Sid that was in our used rack.  Cole, Mike, and  Blacky (white Blacky from Port Macquarie, not to be confused with black Blacky) have been hunting for sashimi, i've been trying too with no luck yet, and the other few in camp that are here for a short time are making a proper effort to get some waves.

I don't think Moneytrees and for sure anything downreef of Moneys had a rideable wave happening these past few days.  Kongs was maxing out at head high.  I've been heading down to Tigertracks and beautifully enough, there were chest to shoulder high waves wrapping around the right with nice form.  Sometimes it's even the same size at Tigertracks on head-high days at Kongs.

So the waters' been getting this inter-mixing again, pulling up some chilled water from the depths below.  It's not cold unless you dive down, but it's got that potential to force me into some rubber if it keeps up.  But now that i think about it, the air's been so hot that it's not gonna happen.  Hottest days in my experience over here and i'm surprised it's not raining yet.  There's gotta be some enormous amounts of evaporation off the ocean happening, but nothing falling back down yet.
