G-LAND ... woke up to the sounds of a light rain, sometime around 5 AM. Woke back up an hour n a half later to it dumping. By 7, the clouds backed away from Plengkung and left us with a sunny, hot day. The road won't dry out until maybe next "dry" season.
Surf was looking OK today. A few sets in the "just" overhead range, but head high for the most part. Money Trees was running fast...those sections require a massive amount of physical energy to get around. Upreef at Kongs had better form and longer running waves. Clean ocean surface conditions again.
Went on a fish hunt with Cole Doeh and Bondan. Came back with 2 fish (a blue-fin and striped trevally) and hoping to go again tomorrow. Didn't see much life out there today, but Cole split off and went way up to Blambangan's tip. From his story, I'll follow him up there tomorrow.
