G-LAND ... keep those sunny days coming PLEASE!!!  Really, I'm hyper-sensitive to the contrast.  There has been such intense rain this dry season that only when these windows of clear, high pressures hang over the peninsula am I aware of actually how much rain we have had.

And another perfect day to receive a swell.  Every element minus the wave energy was given to us today.  Surf was maybe head high max, keeping out of sight from in front of the camp.  You had to go up around the corner, into Kongs to get something.  This morning looked AND FELT real promising, but I was not  right in my feeling for what "may" come.

Not sure what the NEWS is broadcasting about Gunung Merapi throughout the rest of the planet, but it's on the Indonesian channels everyday.  The headlines usually read "Gunung Merapi Gancaman (still a threat)."  Some of the images look horribly suffocating from the falling ash.  I believe most everyone nearby has long been evacuated, so no more people losing life.  Just stopped from going through their normal  movements.  These photos have a  different feeling to them...NO?

And YES...the 14th and 15th still looks positive on the forecast!
