G-LAND ... classic dry season conditions for the ENTIRE day. The ocean looked very inviting today. The surf bumped up just a bit more from yesterday's bump, setting us up with 6-8 foot faces and even breaking rarely into Money Trees. The swell was coming in, but INconsitently. Easy 40 minutes in between sets...
Fan Palms on up through Kongs collected most of the swell. I saw a beautiful set peel through Fan Palms around 11 and was hoping that the few guys sitting there wouldn't miss it since not many of those were coming in. Two of them got the 4-wave set and gave me a good scene to watch.
I'm playing the gamble again on the computer forecast. 2nd time doing this and the 1st left me a loser. Hope I have better luck this time. Took care of a legitimate "spring cleaning" of everything. A full season of "wetness" turned all my organic belongings into a perfect medium for the Fungi Kingdom to sequester it back to nature. Radiating them with strong ultra-violet light after a skin blistering rub-down with beach sand is the only way to clean it without disintegration the fibers.
The 14th and 15th still looks promising!!!
