G-LAND ... And the swell continued to come in!!! The 9th was the start of it and i hope the end of it doesn't come soon. Today and yesterday were good fun. Yesterday maybe just a little more size and a little bit more consistent than today, but the essence of both days were similar. Surf was 8-10 foot faces but there was a few rogues that came through at double overhead. Good winds and nicely enough, mostly sunny both of the days minus short 30 minutes squalls that came in a couple of times. So the jungle and our "things" had the chance to dry out some of the dank.
A little bit of everything breaking today. With a 2.0 meter high and the swell carrying enough S in it, Inside Launching Pad into Upper Speedies was working. Money Trees recieving some sets as well, but not too consistently. The forecast was showing a combination of swells...something like 220 degrees and 200 degrees. Pad was on with the tide and then the Ledge on the low. So the forecast and what we were seeing jived pretty well. And i hope the forecast continues to be right on.
