G-Land had an early offshore wind this morning, so it was surfable all day along Money Trees. With a 3-4ft swell and occassional 5ft set, there certainly were waves to be had in the G-Land Surf.
G-Land's famed Speedies section even had a few sneaky sets late morning, one bloke from South Australia was getting 5second backhand tube rides on 2-3ft waves! I was a bit out of rythm today but got a coupla fun ones.
So now I'm all ready for a macking swell when it decides to present itself.. I just bought a 7'8 and a 7'0 gun off Mitch from Kauai. I'm not saying you should bring a giant board over on your holiday, but if theres one of those macking swells which do occur, then it can be great to have a big board!
