G-Land always surprises me. The morale has been weak amongst the guests with the swell on the way down and nothing significant on the forecast. People were just taking there time and dragging themselves into the water like myself, however, speedies came on and I had a really fun afternoon along with the 10 or so others that decided to join us out there. The biggest set would have only been 3 ft but it was really soft and glassy and there were lots of barrels to be had.
Before coming in I paddled up the reef to the start of the fang and got a nice fast one with a backdoor barrel to finish it off.. I was happy to go in after that. It turned out that even though it was smaller than yesterday it was still cleaner and everyone got better waves.
Bobby is in camp and it is great to see him. He has so many great stories after his 30 years plus of coming here to this jungle camp and setting it up to what it is today.
