G-LAND ... Yeah, they gotta come every once in a long while just as a reminder of what "small surf" feels like over here.  And so it came today.  Although, I have seen it much smaller for sure, maybe half the size.

Head high or so and pretty weak.  The winds were shifty today, but the offshores did get a chance to blow a few times.  And so did the onshores.  Basically, it was a day to do other things than surf.

Fabio has been on a dedicated mission to dive as much as possible.  He's been organizing one of the cukung's from the boat channel and going south around the point, almost every day,  and coming back with nice sized trevallies.  So he organized another trip today and 4 of us followed his lead.  The diving was really enjoyable and between seeing all the fish, 1 young mantaray, and two spotted eagle rays, all in pretty clear water...I wasn't dissappointed at all that the effort didn't get me any fish back to land.  Peter hooked up a nice blue-fin trevally and something like a queen fish on his rod.  He had the lucky draw.
