G-Land Surf Camp was very busy this morning! With 30 guests leaving and 55 arriving, the kitchen staff were flat out making lots of breakfasts. So in total Bobby's camp very busy with 63 guests. The good news is they are all a bunch of great guys from Australia, here for a firefighters convention! What a place to have a convention, in the great G-Land.
The G-Land Surf welcomed everybody with 3-5ft waves all day. Solid overhead on the sets, and offshore winds most of the day. Plenty of barrel rides going down through Fan Palms and Money Trees, the crowd was a good crowd, everyone played nicely and had a great day. Before dark there were some fun waves on Fan Palms and The Ledge.
G-Land veteran Tiger Tom celebrated his birthday tonight in typical G-Land style, when all the G-Land Surf Camp staff did their singing and music playing and brought out the cake and arak drink!
