G-Land surf conditions for today went like this: 2-3 feet on the face, winds variable out of the north and west about 7 knots max, and surf looking fairly weak from land. I didn't go out for a surf, but there's always several waves coming through on days like today that I know would be fun if I was right there to take off on. Basically, a good day to simply enjoy being here at Pantai Plengkung...G-Land.
G-Land kabar...Kimbo came in last night to expand on his and Bobby's efforts to ensure that all will be well at G-Land...in any possible scenario. The helipad was a major move towards their ultimate goal of being well prepared and safer for those scenarios that do happen. The next addition will be a first aid station set up at the camp's entrance tentatively completed at the end of May. I'm sure there will be many thanks given.
Aside from Kimbo and myself, there's one other guest, Philip from Portugal. The camp is extremely quiet. Philip is setting up a camera out front to feed video clips every 3 hours of the surf conditions. And once that's completed, there'll be a direct link on the website. Things seem to always be expanding.
ENJOY and until tomorrow...
