G-LAND ... Another ultra-crisp early morning with really fun looking waves and offshores blowing nicely from the start. There's been a handful of these already and i'm sure there's been more than what i've witnessed since i'm usually still sleeping in the early mornings. Same size today...8-10 foot faces but a little more power than yesterday. Been taking out the stand-up paddleboard the past couple of days and was a little worried about it snapping today. BIG BILL it would be!!!
So with that little extra push in the swell and really nice offshores, you can imagine that it would have been hollow. Plenty of tubes today and plenty of them going unridden or unmade cause they were FAST. But get on the gas and at least you'll travel in it for awhile. I was just watching, but really amped on seeing some of the waves peeling off real nicely. Moneytrees was the speedtrack. Even Inside Launching Pad getting some sets down there. Fan Palms looking really like the spot to be for most everyone. I'd seen one of our guests Peter take about 20 seconds to get down to where i was lurking in the line-up, only to then ride another 10 seconds past me. I know he remembers that one cause i asked him. And then he said he picked off a better one after that. I'm really hoping to be surfing out here soon enough.
A favor to ask...if you're coming over anytime soon from the US and willing to bring me an ankle brace (i'll have it shipped to your address), please send me a message to narchi@grajagan.com. THANKS
