A very slow day in G-Land today with a strong offshore making the rides seem even slower! Well OK it was still a solid 3ft on the big sets, warm water and nice weather, so many guests were still happy just to get amongst it. Although Hawaiian boy Christian got a nasty low tide back scratch and had to endure a scrub out with chinese medicine afterwards. He certainly didn't enjoy that!
G-Land Bobby's Surf Camp's delicous Vienna Schnitzel was my pick of the day once again, mouth watering stuff!
Being full moon tonight means we had a full moon dance party, known as Gandrung. This was held down at the beach shortly after one of our guests from Florida had his birthday thing going on. The Gandrung had a few new style dances this time, and there was some very entertaining dance styles coming from the guests when it became time for us to join in! My style got labeled the crab dance, I also seen 'the chicken', 'the eagle', I even did 'the sprinkler' and 'the lawnmower' before the nights end. A few of the guests really stole the limelight with their radical dance styles, and we even had a guest take over the microphone and do an amazing song, followed by another guest who put us through 20 minutes of sheer headache material singing which was infact more like a witch howling through the speakers. Great entertainment!
