G-LAND ...   Sitting here getting the word for tomorrow's transport and i'm shocked.  We're getting in 28 people...that's more than the total number of guests that we've had this season...minus Kimbo's crew of firefighters and lifeguards.  Hopefully they know something.  I'm gonna guess that plenty of stories flowed back in Bali about this last swell we had on the 14th through 18th of June.  Didn't look like Speedies conditions on the tide chart, but it worked out anyways.  And the  coming swell that's predicted looks almost to be the same falling on similar conditions as the mid-June mania.  If we continue to get these dawn offshores, then it could be real interesting.

And that brings me back to a putting down a report of what has already happened...not what's to come.  Still getting beautiful winds from straight outta the gates...no need to wait 'til 10 or so for it to clean up.  The swell's been down the past 2 days, but still easily surfable and fun.  6-8 foot faces and always a few rogues putting everyone on notice.  Surprise sets are almost always unridden and that's how it goes.  Gotta be prepared and always looking out off the Bombie to make sure you know what's about to happen.  Most of the action has been happening above the Tower.  But yesterday, i was amazed by the look of this 1 set that hit Inside Launching Pad and peeled off perfectly.  No one would have been prepared for it and i never saw another one of those again down there.  Moneytrees did the same, but those types of sets are just for someone who was meant to be on it!!!
