G-LAND ... I really don't know what's going on this season with all the traveling surfers. Wait...that's not right. More like I really don't know where all the traveling surfers have been going this season!!! It's not here and that's a fact. Transport day today and i've been apprehensive for a long time to broadcast how many guests we've been housing . But it just seems alright to lay it out. We've got a handful more than a baker's dozen. Yup...still apprehensive to be clear, but i'm sure you can figure out that sort of math. The other camps are loaded up even lighter than us, but that's normal. So what's going on??? Economic crisis as the locals say it. Everyone is going to Cloudbreak? People are not interested to fly into Bali anymore since it's been overtaken by foreign ideals or something like that. Not sure but it is so peaceful out here.
Woke up this morning early once again, 4th day straight. I've been so curious to see what the wind is doing early on and if it's hollowing out the surf. Yup...doing it again, but the swell dropped off to about 8-12 foot faces and not focusing down at Speedies so much. Moneytrees, the Ledge, and Fan Palms lining up and actually a welcomed change from the past 4 days. And from what i wrote above...it was just short of being empty in the water!!!
