G-LAND ... Couldn't have been more fun for how small G-Land was today. Small being head high. Great winds again and even a little warmer water than yesterday. It's going in the direction i'd prefer. And the water has cleared right up. The green hue from the upwelling has dissolved and it's feeling great to be in trunks again.
Not much happening at Moneytrees today. But the Ledge has some really fun racetracks through the section, even a few surprise sets that had a bit of hollowness to them. Fan Palms right on through the very top of the reef was working and seemed pretty consistent for most of the day. Funny how much more consistent it's been on the smaller days. The bigger swells we just finished surfing were great, but the lulls between those beautiful sets were really long, so it feels great to not sit for so long. Maybe that's why the water feels warmer too???
