G-Land Surf was up today! A small blip on the charts equaled solid 4-6ft Money Trees throughout the morning. Many people chose to surf as early as possible with the high tide at 7/8am and the offshore already up. Some sick waves were had down the reef near Speedies here and there too. Not too bad a crowd for peak season, never really more than 20 people in one area. I shot out about 4pm for a late one, as I was relaxing all day - G-Land can just suck all the energy out of you after a certain amount of days surfing - so after a lunch and a nap, yes, I finally got out. Ended up getting ragdolled on a heavy Ledge nugget, and not quite made a sick as Money's barrel.. but right on dark got that golden egg that gave me a full 5 second tube (counted it on my gopro) and that left me very satisfied. Water temp was alright, I was just good in my springy. But lots of guys are wearing no rubber and seem to be OK.
Dazz and his 9 year old daughter Georgia went to Tigertracks twice today! Surfing the mid-high tide peak in the morning, then the outer right hander on the low tide. Reporting good quality fun 2-3ft waves.
