As most of you readers are probably aware, Jakarta was targeted by Terrorists this morning at 7:40am. Two nice hotels were bombed, and numerous foreign citizens from New Zealand and other countries were very unfortunate to die in these blasts. All the G-Land Bobby's Surf Camp staff and guests hearts go out to the victims and their family's.
While we were all shocked to see another bombing on the news, the general vibe here was no different to usual, the tranquil peaceful jungle environment that is G-Land is one of the safest places to be in Indonesia.
The G-Land Surf today was 3-5ft breaking along most of the reef, with some good waves had by most who surfed. An unusual heavy rain fell only an hour after the bombs, a strange coincidence. After the rain fell, the offshore slowly picked up and then all afternoon the waves were groomed by a nice wind.
