G-Land was a bit smaller today, but I thought the quality was better and with hardly any current, I was stoked. Perhaps not everyone thought the same. I guess size is not always the most important factor for me. Anyway, the offshore wind was up pretty early, I surfed 8:30 - 11:30, the tide was really high for most of that. The crowd got a little busy for a time there, but there was waves going to kongs, fan palms, ledge, upper moneys and some sneakers at lower moneys. Ahh.. size? It was solid 3ft with a few 4ft sets as well. Easily head high with a few overhead sets.

Barrels? There was certainly the odd sick barrel... I happened to be down reef when an awesome set went wide into HoopThrowers and I just snagged onto it, freefell into a tube, and got my best barrel ride in G-Land this season. The wave was like 3-4ft, but such a good deep pit, spat out... ๐Ÿ™‚ ย Seen another bloke get a mean as double barrel up at Fan Palm even.

Heard Tigertracks had some fun small ones this morning also. Well.. signing out now to go get BBQ Chicken dinner and Bintang ๐Ÿ™‚
