G-Land still had some great waves today, not quite as mental as yesterday, but there were some sick barrels to had nonetheless. The trades kicked in mid morning like clockwork, and there was 4-5ft sets to be had all day in the G-Land Surf.
High Tide was late morning, and there was a few nice sets on Launching Pads and Speedies, one of G-Land Bobby's Surf Camp guests Micheal from Murribula, Australia, got some great waves as he has been everyday down at Speedies. As the tide dropped a bit, Money Trees turned on for a bit, just like yesterday! The mid tide surge out did no favors, and the waves went a bit average. But as it settled towards low tide, the sets pulsed in again, and it was barrels aplenty.
I went back out at Low tide again, and the Ledge had some super sucky ones due to the 0.1m tide. My last wave was definitely my best ever Ledge wave, and at the time I thought it was the best wave of my life! Although thinking back, maybe I will put it in the top ten or something, as with alot of time spent in Indo, there are many times one can get a barrel and think it was the best ever, especially in G-Land!
