G-Land Surf has finally had a day under 5ft - just. Early morning there was a set on the bombie and a couple surfers who were out said it was solid when it hit them at Upper Money's. Apart from that though, it was 3-4ft all day. Fan Palms sounded like the spot to be at the right time. Money Trees was OK if you could find a nice peeler, but most of the waves were a bit small and clamping in the tube. Usual water temp and not crowded again. If you feel the cold easily then bring rubber.

I seen Blacky come back from Tigertracks with Harry Gundul, I'm sure they scored some super fun waves down there. Blacky took his zodiac down, so Harry would have had a nice quick ride there and back with that option available.

After 5 days straight of solid surf and surfing, I had a complete rest day, spending a lot of the time going through footage and editing the good stuff from the bad. Also got back a new and improved GoPro pole mount from Jibut. The future fin base is still there, but the fin has been chopped back even more for less weight and drag, and screwed to that is an aluminium pole about 30-40cm long, with a fibreglassed cup FCS mount for the camera at the top. Super light and strong, am really hoping this is 4th time lucky!

Tonight I'm running a pool tournament, with Rp20,000 entry fee, the jackpot stakes will be pretty high for the winner and 2nd place! Staff and guests are both welcome to enter and it becomes a fun competitive night at the entertainment centre.

Deluxe beds... very deluxe place to sleep :)
