G-Land had a bit of unseasonal clouds and showers in the morning, but was sunny again in the afternoon. Plenty of sets in the 3-4ft range, and the odd 5ft wave coming through.A quick note about wave heights, when I say 3ft, it is pretty much a 6ft face, as I'm using the 'classic' measurement more commonly used amongst the surfing world. So for instance if I say its 6-8ft, it could easily be 10-16ft faces!
The crowd in the G-Land Surf got moderate during mid morning when the tide was high. And with the tradewinds blowing strong all day, meant the waves were fairly good all day. During the afternoon the crowd was light.
I scored a nice quick surf at Padma St, got their on a high tide, and it was nice shaped rights with some lefts too. Didn't last for long, as soon as the tide started dropping every set over 2ft closed out! But was a bit of fun anyway.. I'll be back in G-Land to surf the real power again on Wednesday.
