What a junky swell! Offshore winds started up real early again, and then kinda eased a bit through the day, and just puffed away maybe 5knots southerly, which didn't help the weird swell anymore. I came to the thought tonight that having a junky swell like this can make one appreciate that much more when it is pumping down the reef and stop picking out little flaws in the waves.

G-Land was 3-5ft all day, and apparently there was a group of little f*#@wits out there snaking everybody and burning everybody and just not playing by the rules. Well hopefully they get whats coming for them! I wasn't out there, as I've sat out better days, but I still don't like to hear about that sort of carry on. In the G-Land Surf, the last thing needed is dropping in, and blatant snaking is not called for!

Late in the day I shot down to Tigertracks and surfed a bunch of small fun right handers, I'm sure Money Trees improved a bit on the incoming tide while I was down there, but since it was my 'rest day' I didn't want to exert to much energy. And there you have it, the last G-Land report of August. What does September have in store for us?
