G-Land Bobby’s Surf Camp had a changeover today. We lost about 10 people but there is still 65 people in camp. About 5 good sized families, some couples, plenty of kids, Father & son combo’s, we have a really good crew at the moment. And the line-up never got too busy today either. The waves were 3-4ft, mostly head high with some overhead sets. An offshore breeze was up early in the morning, and there were some fun waves all day. There were waves at all sections, Kongs, Money Trees & Speedies, so you just had to be in the right place at the right time to snag a nice ride.

Some grommies & girls went to Tigertracks and enjoyed themselves in the small playful waves

The Dad of one family who comes here this time every year just told me that out at the main break it was the mellowest line-up he has ever seen from the past few years. Another particular guest who looks like Wolverine, also known as M1, also son of Bob from Merimbula, just reported getting the odd double overhead wave at Money Trees, and 3 nice ones at Speedies. So if you were in the right spot at the right time of the day, there were some bombs!
