Fun, Fun, Fun was the word today for the G-Land Surf. It was 2-3ft, with solid head-high sets, and Kongs, Fan Palms and the odd set at Money Trees. It was a light sea breeze all morning, but that made Kongs super rippable, with crumbly lips just asking to be belted, and long rides allowing many move combos to be executed! In the afternoon it went more offshore. Before dark I paddled out again and got a few sick ones at Fan Palms.
G-Land Bobby's Surf Camp held a pool tournament tonight, which turned out to be a great success. We had a full draw of 32 staff and guests who all paid Rp10.000 each to enter, and all of whom were battling it out one-on-one to try and make the final and win the Rp250.000 1st prize! Frodo from the kitchen just edged out Neil from Australia in the final to take the win. Neil got Rp60.000 for his efforts, and Rob from Aus and Heru from the kitchen received 3 Bintang vouchers each for their =3rd place. A good fun night had by all.
